Called to serve...
A. Supporting the Communities of Faith (Parishes) in their service to the growing Hispanic/Latino Catholic population in Vicariete VI and in the Archdiocese, in order to achieve a New Evangelization.
B. Coordinating the efforts of Hispanic Ministry through different programs of formation, lay pastoral leadership, ecclesial organisms, and apostolic movements of the Archdiocese, through a collaboration in mission (Pastoral de Conjunto).
C. Promoting the laity to acquire a Masters in Pastoral Studies or Theology through the Oscar Romero Scholars Program of CTU (Catholic Theological Union).
D. Implementing the Archdiocesan Pastoral Plan for Hispanic Ministry, Ecclesia in America, Many Faces in the House of God, a Catholic Vision for the Third Millenium. Other ecclesial Documents, as well as small Base Ecclesial Communities.
E. Integrating the Hispanic presence in the life of the Catholic Church and in society.
F. Advocating for the Immigrant community and their struggle for justice and rights.
